Pawn Power is a class designed to introduced various structures such as double pawns, isolated pawns, backward pawns, etc. It is a class taught when Piece Play isn't taught. The class runs for 8 weeks from January 5 to February 23, including holidays. There is a make up lesson day of March 2nd.

We invite all the women of club and all the siblings of brothers who attend to the first Women in Science discussion. We will have three speakers - Dr. Naoko Neilson, an astrophysicist at Drexel University; Dr. Amitha Padmanabhuni, an endocrinologist; and Brandy Anderson, a regulatory affairs specialist with Giliead Life Sciences.

This is our first online quick tournament. The time control is 8 d3. The tournament is on CHESS.COM, so make sure you are a member of Tri-Bridges Chess Club on that site. The event should go by very quickly and anyone can join from the comfort of their home!
