Queens in Training – 9/17-11/19

This is an introductory class designed for girls roughly ages 6 to 10.  The class is unique in that it is a girl only class taught by other girls.   The class is designed to start with the basics, quickly moving to common checkmating skills, then on to basic tactics, such as forks, pins, skewers, etc.

It is designed as a separate class, but information will be given so that the girls may trialso teach mothers who wish to learn.  This information is part of the larger Generations Chess project.  As such, this class is FREE for all girls regardless of whether the mother’s wish to take part in the program.
