ECE #99 – G/5, d2 – Triple Crown First Leg

This event will go from 12 to a little before 4.  It is an 8-round, 16-game, G/5, d2 event.  It is the first leg of the Triple Crown (see events #100 and #101 as well.)  The time control for this event is G/5, d2, and each round will be as soon as possible after the preceding round, with a goal of being done by about 3:30.

The sections for all 3 events are – Open, Under 1600, Under 1000 scholastic.

Prizes:  Trophies in Under 1000 – Top 5, Top Under 750, Top Under 500, Top Under 250

Open – 80% of entry fees:  40% for first, 20% for second, 10% Under 2000, 10% Under 1800

Under 1600 – 80% of entry fees: 40% for first, 20% for second, 10% Under 1400, 10% Under 1200

Bonus:  Winning the 3 legs of the Triple Crown will get a $300 bonus for Open, $200 bonus for Under 1600, and $100 bonus and trophy in the Under 1000 Scholastic.

Light snacking provided, party at 6:30 and all players (and TBCC people not playing) are welcome
