DESCRIPTION:Beginner Class: Weekly on Wednesdays This class is cancelled for the spring. This class is for absolute beginners. The first classes will be on how to move the pieces and the class will also cover pawn promotion\, castling\, back rank checkmate\, the 4 move checkmate and similar items. The class is 8 weeks and $80. The class starts 1/7 and will end the week of 2/25.  The first Wednesday of March will be a make up day.

SUMMARY:Wild Wednesday Quick Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Stop in for our once a month Wednesday quick tournament.  This event will be at 7 pm.  Players and sections will be determined based on entries.  Generally there are 2 sections.  The event usually takes less than 2 hours and has a few trophy prizes.  This will alternate every 2 weeks with a blitz tournament with the same set up.  The blitz event is 3 d2.  The time for this event is G8 d3\, to help everyone get ready for the state quick champoionship the Friday night (3/6) before the main state championship.
