DESCRIPTION:This event is the official Pennsylvania Haring Qualifier. You must be a scholastic female player.  You may be from any state. However\, to represent Pennsylvania in the Haring Championship at the U. S. Open\, you must be a citizen of Pennsylvania.\nOne section – G/90 d5. Round Times: Saturday – 10 – 1:30 – 5; Sunday 9:30 – 1\nPrizes: Irwin representative for top Pennsylvanian; 1st Overall – $200\, 2nd Overall – $100; Top Under 2000 – $90; Top Under 1800 – $80; Top Under 1600 – $70; Top Under 1400 – $60; Top Under 1200 – $50; Top Under 1000 – $50; Top Upset – $50 \nEntry Fee: $30 \nCoffee/tea/water is available. Fast food/sit-down restaurants/convenience stores are within a few minutes’ commute. Two or three hotels are about 5 minutes away\, and many are within about 20 minutes. There will also be a small selection of chess literature for sale. \nOne half-point bye allowed; must declare by the start of round 2. \nWhen signing up\, click blue registration button\, fill out form\, click submit\, and then reload page to see if you want to double check that you have signed up. \n
