DESCRIPTION:Second Chess Class: This class is for those who know how to move the pieces\, know how to castle\, but lose most of their games. The course will mostly focus on tactics – i.e. forks\, pins skewers\, discovered check\, double check\, and the like. \nRam Singh is the teacher and the classes will be held at Tri-Bridges Chess Club – 666 Exton Commons\, Exton PA 19341. \nAll classes are 8 weeks and $80. They all start the week of 3/16 and will end the week of 5/5. \nIt is helpful for our planning and bookkeeping to sign up for the first class\, but you do not need to sign up for each and everyone.

However\, to represent Pennsylvania in the Haring Championship at the U. S. Open\, you must be a citizen of Pennsylvania.\nOne section – G/90 d5. Round Times: Saturday – 10 – 1:30 – 5; Sunday 9:30 – 1\nPrizes: Irwin representative for top Pennsylvanian; 1st Overall – $200\, 2nd Overall – $100; Top Under 2000 – $90; Top Under 1800 – $80; Top Under 1600 – $70; Top Under 1400 – $60; Top Under 1200 – $50; Top Under 1000 – $50; Top Upset – $50 \nEntry Fee: $30 \nCoffee/tea/water is available. Fast food/sit-down restaurants/convenience stores are within a few minutes’ commute. Two or three hotels are about 5 minutes away\, and many are within about 20 minutes.
