DESCRIPTION:Beginner Class: Weekly on Wednesdays This class is cancelled for the spring. This class is for absolute beginners. The first classes will be on how to move the pieces and the class will also cover pawn promotion\, castling\, back rank checkmate\, the 4 move checkmate and similar items. The class is 8 weeks and $80. The class starts 1/7 and will end the week of 2/25.  The first Wednesday of March will be a make up day.

SUMMARY:Everybody's 2nd Chess Class - 1/8/26 through 2/26/26
DESCRIPTION:This is our most popular class.  It is a class for people who know how to move the pieces\, but not too much else.  Basic tactics are covered\, as well as a few of the more famous chess mating patterns. A booklet accompanies the class and will be available in week 2. The booklet includes a few additional examples that students can use to practice the concepts taught in class. The booklet is free upon joining the class. \nPlease note that the cost is $80 for the entire course\, not just one class.

DESCRIPTION:Piece Play: This class is an introduction to positional concepts such as outposts\, open files\, and weak squares. \nRam Singh is the teacher and the classes will be held at Tri-Bridges Chess Club – 666 Exton Commons\, Exton PA 19341. \nThe class is 7 weeks with a rolling admission.  The cost is $70 or part of that based on enrollment date. The classes will be 1/12\, 1/19\, 1/26\, 2/2\, 2/9\, 2/16\, and 2/23 (Makeup on 3/2) \nA brief chess bio about Ram: \nRam Singh is an experienced chess player who has been attending this club on and off since its founding in 2013. He has reached a peak USCF rating of 1960 and has multiple wins in class A sections of large events like the National Chess Congress and Liberty Bell Open. He has been teaching classes intermittently for 7 years and does take private students. \n
