DESCRIPTION:Beginner Class: Weekly on Wednesdays This class is cancelled for the spring. This class is for absolute beginners. The first classes will be on how to move the pieces and the class will also cover pawn promotion\, castling\, back rank checkmate\, the 4 move checkmate and similar items. The class is 8 weeks and $80. The class starts 1/7 and will end the week of 2/25.  The first Wednesday of March will be a make up day.

DESCRIPTION:Time Control: G/75 d5 \nChampionship: Open to all. EF: $35. $200-100\, U2000 $75\, U1800 $50. \nPremier: Open to unrated or rated under 1600. EF: $30. $$ $90-60\, U1400 $50\, U1200 $40\, U1000 $30. Trophies to Top 2\, Top 2 under 1400\, Top 2 under 1200\, and Top 2 under 1000. \nScholastic:  2 Sections – Under 500 and Under 1000.  Under 1000 trophies 1st to 5th\, 1st and 2nd Under 750; Under 500 trophies 1st to 5th\, 1st and 2nd Under 250 .  Scholastic sections will run on own time frame\, usually done by 4 PM. \nAll: Trophies to 1st-3rd school teams\, top college/university team\, combining 4-7 players from all sections.  Registration ends at 9:30 am.  Rounds 10 am – 1 pm – 4 pm – 7 pm; EF on site: $50 regardless of section.
